Curb Appeal Start with the outside of your house, better known as your curb appeal. Look at the outside of your house from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What positive characteristics seem hidden?
Understanding this assists us in determining what plan of action we can use to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with touched up paint and blooming garden plants we'll need to tackle those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your house's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Can buyers see themselves enjoying game night in your living space, reading a good book in your spa tub or inviting family and friends over for a dinner in your dining room? I want your home to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of ease. I'll help you achieve this by suggesting changes that enhance your home's features.
I'll tell you eliminate anything that gives the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be neatly arranged. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time artwork should get moved out of sight. You need to "de-personalize" the house so buyers can perceive it as their new house.
I'll look over every room of your home. Areas that directly affect your sale price include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need washing
Buyers' agents know that their clients want to see a house that invites them inside. Everything that could be "loud" should be removed in order for your property to have likability during any visit.

Setting the Stage
At every showing, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses.
Brightening up each room is critical, so we'll do things like part the curtains and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and ensure a nice fragrance flows room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking bedspreads, and place pillows on your love seat and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your home is their future home. |
